Peter Jennings

As most of you already know, Peter Jennings, ABC, has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer, directly related to his habit. He says that he stopped twenty years ago, but started back after 9/11. One thing that I really enjoyed of Jennings' was one of my favorite books, called The Century, which he co-wrote with Todd Brewster. The event that I think most defined his career, was 9/11. I remember watching the telivision the night of it, and remember Jennings just speechless in awe and disbelief when the second plane hit the twin towers. Even though he didn't say much, what he said and how he said it just made an impression on me. Anyway, we all wish Peter Jennings the best and assure him that we, or at least I will, be praying for him.
