"Under God" in Pledge of Allegience Ruled Unconstitutional

Yesterday, a California judge ruled that including the words “Under God” while reciting the pledge of allegiance in schools. The case will now begin a long process to be decided by the Supreme Court. The attack on our nation’s heritage is being staged by Michael Newdow, an atheist who states that pledging allegiance to God is unconstitutional.

I can understand why atheists and those don’t believe in God may have a problem with reciting the current pledge of allegiance, but they need to understand our nation was founded on biblical principles and the fact that God is supreme. It would make more sense if if these people have that much of a problem with it, then they should just sit in their seats while the rest of the class recites it. With the probable induction of John Roberts in the Supreme Court, conservatives can hope to see brighter days and a renewal of spiritual on which our nation was founded.
