Terry Schiavo: Mercy ?

IN FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS, MY INTENT IS NOT TO BLAST AMERICA, BUT THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OF TERRI SCHIAVO.

The of Terri Schiavo today doesn't mark the end of struggle, but the beginning of what I think will one of the biggest controversies besides abortion and same-sex marriage for years to come. The controversy is not a 'right to die' or anything like that, but is a controversy of how valuable a life is. I can understand and agree with cutting off someone that is and will be on life support or something of the like. But when the person can swallow, show emotions, and murmer 'baby talk phrases', that person deserves to be able to live. What Michael Schiavo and Judge Greer did was ! Here is a list of who benefited from this case and who didn't:

Who Benefited:
Michael Schiavo- He got his wish; he had the enjoyment of watching his 'much loved wife'(He's already engaged to another woman and they already have three kids) slowly starve to . I wonder what he said to Terri right before she passed away?! Oh wait! She's already so dumb and worthless, that she's practically already ! Isn't that right Michael? As a matter of fact, why don't we put her out of her smiling misery and starve her to ! She will probably enjoy that more! Anyway he probably said something like this to Terri: "Hey Terri, how's it going? It's a good thing that starving to is completely painless!(according to Michael Schiavo's attorney) Will you just hurry up and die so I can marry that other woman I've been in love with for years? By the way, thanks for the 300k that I got in lawsuits about you." I'll need it to pay the three attorneys I had to hire in order to kill you.

And Who Didn't:

Judge Greer: Congragulations Greer, you are now the mos unpopular judge in the nation! People are now mentioning you and in the same sentence! Bask in you glory!

U.S. Supreme Court: Justice will prevail! Justice in this case was starving someone to . I now consider the Court a group of the most cowardly people that I know! Why did they refuse to intervene and stop Terri from starving to ? Because they haven't had a good reputation lately anyway and don't want any more criticism, especially from people that support people dying!

Terri Schiavo's parents: With an understanding heart, I respct you both for the valiant efforts you put up to keep your daughter alive. But unfortunately, the fight is now yet over. Your now ex-son-in-law want Terri to be cremated and shipped off to some vague Pennsylvania cemetary instead of with her decesed relatives in home-state Florida.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, please vote on my poll about this case on the right sidebar.

Technology: Can Apple Stock Keep Rising?

I will never forget last October when Apple stock was just $20 and I told my Dad(I'm fifteen years old) to buy some. Of course he didn't buy it, but now he regrets it; the stock has quadrupled and was recently split 2-1 to $40. Though it has slowed down a bit, it is still rising. I am seriously considering buying some now, but will probably wait for the new ipod to come out.

NBA: LeBron Scores 56!

Yesterday, March 20, LeBron James set numerous records by scoring a career high 56 points in a losin effort to the Raptors. It is unfortunate that I wasn't able to watch this . I did have the privalege of watching him earlier this season scoring a then career high 43 points against the Pistons-and even that was amazing to watch. But despite the broken records and the highlight reel dunks and fadaways, the Cavs still lost. The loss cost Paul Silas, the Cavs' coach, his job.

Technology: HALO 3!!!!!

Well, now that we all know that Bungie has doubled its staff, marking the probable beginning of Halo 3, we have to ponder on when it will be released. The two likely choices are: the release date of "Xbox 2," or the release date of PS 3. There has also been talk over a "Halo 2.5" coming out with "Xbox 2." This would be a kind of director's cut. Whatever way it is, it will probably be cool. There has also been a report confirmed by Bungie that there will be some sort of new content for Halo 2 that you will be able to get for free, whether or not you have Xbox Live. That will be cool.

Technology: Apple disappoints at CeBit

At last week's CeBit exhibition, everyone was satiated with all sorts of mobile phones and the like, the most popular being Yahoo joining up with Blackberry to enable the Yahoo instant messenger on the Blackberry. But what we expected to see, but didn't, was a phone jointly put out by Apple and Motorola that can download songs from Apple's Itune's service. We had already known that the two companies were developing such a device, but didn't know any specifications or images of it. The product's failed showing was blamed on Apple. Apple's CEO, Steve , is known for his pickings on announcing new products. This may be because Apple has a recent history of having unloyal employees that divulge secrets on unreleased products to the media. Nevertheless, we are all looking forward to the formal announcement of the phone, which is expected soon.

News and Opinion: Scott Peterson

If you have not yet heard, the judge presiding over the Scott Peterson case has decided against overturning the sentence. What I do not understand at all is that he will still probably die in his cell from old age. This is because he and his lawyer can appeal to the sentence sentence a certain amount of times, and each appeal has to wait on the judge to hear it. This mean that he actually probably won't be executed, he will most likely just die from old age. This is a major flaw in the judicial system that needs to be fixed. Thanks for listening to my take on this.

Technology: ?!?PSP?!?

For anyone that I know that isn't a technophile like me, which is almost everyone, the Sony PSP is coming out March 24. I have been really excited about this for months and cannot believe that it's almost here! It will cost $250, but I should have enough money for it by then. Along with the actual device, the package will also come with earbud headophones, a 32MB flash disk, a sleek-looking carrying case, a small remote control for use while watching and listening to music, and a free copy of Spiderman 2, the movie. If you would like to learn more about it or see what it looks like, go here. Thanks. I hope to be able to post more soon. Maybe more today.

NBA: Dirk's shaved head-Why???

Why in the world did Dirk Nowitzki shave his head? He looked perfectly fine with the long hair-though at times he did look like a caveman or something. Even my mom, who doesn't like his hair long, likes the long hair even more. I hope that Dirk will do our eyes a favor and DON'T SHAVE YOUR HAIR AGAIN!
This is my first post, so I hope this goes ok. I hope this whole blogger thing works out.
